Grammy's: Best Dressed

Past week were the 60th Grammy Awards at Madison Square Garden, New York. Again I'm going to take a moment and tell you my favorite looks and give you some details about what I think about the Grammy's. Let's be honest: some people didn't deserve to win.

Curious about some major red carpet looks? Then click on read more.

Let's start off with the amazing dress from Sza. The beautiful singer wore Atelier Versace, and it looked STUNNING.

What also would've looked great on her? A grammy. Sza was nominated for best newcomer and that Grammy is worth a lot. It's the Grammy you can only win once. But, unfortunately, the winner of this award was Alessia Cara. Of course I'm happy for her that she won the award but here is the thing that I don't get. The nominations were for Khalid, Lil Uzi Vert, Julia Micheals, Sza and Alessia Cara. I am not a music expert, but I know that Alessia only came out with two major hits. But... the other nominees from this category came out with albums in 2017 and Cara's debut came out in 2016. So, can I call this fair? Nah, I don't think so. Just like Alessia said herself: the Grammy's are all about popularity.

Lady Gaga in Armani.

The other thing that felt a bit off were the performances. Although there were a lot of great performances, there were a few that I felt a bit awkward with. The Despacito-hype all over again: really?! The dancers, the lights, camera views were AWFUL. What also was very confusing was the Wild Thoughts act. DJ Khaled shouting thing while Rihanna is dancing and singing at the same time. It was very confusing. The 1-800 from logic wasn't his best performance. I felt like he had a time limit and he needed to cut some things off from his song and that made it way less powerful as it should have been. His speech at the end didn't feel real (i know it was real) but he did the same at the VMA's and now it feels more like something he HAS to do and not FEELS to do. You know?

Performances I liked: Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Elton John with Miley Cyrus and U2.
